This virtual symposium brought together clinicians and researchers to share the latest advances in the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of this under-diagnosed, disabling but treatable disorder. Speakers included representatives from a range of subspecialties, including anesthesiology, neurology, neurosurgery, and neuroradiology. The topics covered the variety of clinical presentations, differential diagnoses, complications, cranial and spinal imaging, percutaneous interventions, surgical approaches, anatomy and pathophysiology of the various leak types, and tailored imaging and treatment approaches. The day concluded with a panel discussion about evidence gaps, research priorities, and potential opportunities for collaborative research.
