Today is Healthcare Provider Appreciation Day during Migraine & Headache Awareness Month.
All those suffering with headache disorders are appreciative of the kind, professional and compassionate care provided by their healthcare providers, whether they be primary care providers, specialty care providers or allied care providers.
The pain, suffering and disability associated with #headache are often profound. The dedication of professionals eager to offer therapeutic options, never giving up, is just so essential to an improved quality of life for so many that suffer.
This is a day for each of us to let our healthcare providers know that we are grateful!
Individuals with #spinalCSFleak often endure lengthy delays before the correct diagnosis is made, largely due to low awareness of intracranial hypotension. Because the underlying cause is correctable, many patients can be cured. When those that suffer with #spinalCSFleak find those clinicians interested and able to assist, their suffering can be reduced or eliminated.
We gratefully acknowledge the work of ALL of these clinicians who diagnose, treat, research and publish. Outcomes are improving as a result of these efforts.
